RIYADH, September 17, 2026 – NUPCO marked World Patient Safety Day with a community health awareness event at Sports Boulevard in Riyadh, drawing 877 visitors. Held as part of its NUPCO Care initiative, the event was organized in partnership with the Saudi Patient Safety Center, Al Riyadh Club and Sports Boulevard.
The event featured an interactive “Journey Passport” experience that combined physical activity with health education. Visitors explored four stations, collecting stamps in their passports as they completed each challenge.
The journey began with boxing, followed by resistance exercises highlighting the importance of building muscle mass. Visitors also walked along a route lined with motivational messages. At the third station, they took part in a basketball challenge before completing the journey at the final station, where they collected gifts.
Additional activities included a children’s play and coloring area, gymnastics sessions and a variety of outdoor games, encouraging visitors to stay active and adopt healthy habits.
NUPCO Care is one of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. Its activities run throughout the year in partnership with organizations across the public, private and nonprofit sectors, promoting health education and raising community awareness to help improve quality of life.
