Riyadh to Host Global Health Exhibition Next Week

Riyadh, October 23, 2025, SPA — The eighth edition of the Global Health Exhibition will take place in Riyadh from October 27 to 30, sponsored by the Ministry of Health and supported by the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key initiative of Saudi Vision 2030.
As one of the region’s most prominent healthcare events, the exhibition will bring together over 500 international speakers and experts from 25 countries, along with healthcare leaders, officials, investors, and innovators, and will feature more than 2,000 brands from major international and local companies specializing in healthcare technologies and services.
This year’s event reflects the growing momentum in the Saudi healthcare sector, driven by the Ministry of Health’s transformation efforts to adopt modern business models based on efficiency and sustainability. The event will also highlight the Kingdom’s position as an advanced model in employing emerging technologies, particularly AI, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure, to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
This edition is expected to witness the largest participation since the exhibition’s launch in 2018, solidifying Riyadh’s position as a global center for health dialogue, knowledge exchange, and innovation.

Riyadh – The National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies (NUPCO) has honored several of its supplier partners in recognition of their contributions to operational efforts during the Hajj 1447 AH season, at a ceremony held at the company’s headquarters in Riyadh.

Nupco Signs MoU with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health to Enhance Cooperation in Unified Procurement and Health Supply Chains

Tashkent – The National Unified Procurement Company (nupco) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The MoU aims to enhance cooperation in unified procurement, health supply chain management, digital transformation, and capacity building, contributing to healthcare systems development, exchange of expertise, and healthcare services improvement in both countries.

 

The signing of the MoU took place during the official visit of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, to the Republic of Uzbekistan. This visit also saw the signing of several agreements and MoUs aimed at expanding health and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Uzbekistan, reflecting the strength of bilateral relations and the two countries’ commitment to developing a strategic partnership in the health sector.

The memorandum aims to leverage nupco’s expertise in developing unified procurement systems and healthcare supply chains, and to enhance cooperation in inventory management, digital transformation, data exchange, capacity building, localization, and investment. This includes conducting joint workshops, preparing technical studies, and developing a roadmap for priority initiatives, all contributing to sustainable outcomes that support the development of the healthcare sector in both countries.

 

As the national arm for unified procurement and healthcare supply in the Kingdom, nupco continues developing the healthcare supply system through an integrated operational model that has contributed to increasing the efficiency of supply chains, enhancing the sustainability of medical product availability, and improving spending efficiency. This supports the objectives of Health Sector Transformation Program and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

This memorandum reflects nupco’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships, transferring Saudi expertise in healthcare procurement and supply, developing innovative solutions that contribute to building more efficient and sustainable healthcare systems, and strengthening cooperation with international partners to serve mutual interests and solidify the Kingdom’s position as a leading regional hub for logistics and healthcare services.
