Wasfaty Represents nupco and Wins the Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025

In a new achievement that reflects the Kingdom’s leadership in healthcare innovation, Wasfaty represented nupco at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Health.

This participation resulted in winning three distinguished awards:
• Gold Medal from the exhibition.
• Jury Congratulations, a special recognition granted to outstanding projects.
• CAI Award for Invention & Innovation from the China Association of Inventions.

Nupco Achieves Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Procurement Ethics Certification

The National Company for Unified Procurement of Medicines, Devices and Medical Supplies (Nupco) has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the Organization’s Procurement Ethics Accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). This certification serves as a testament to Nupco’s commitment to the highest standards of integrity and transparency in managing its procurement operations and enhancing trust with its partners across various sectors.

Nupco was awarded the Procurement Ethics Certificate after its team completed training and passed the exam in various areas of ethical procurement and supply management, in line with modern global standards. These standards include Integrity and Transparency: Ensuring fair and transparent procurement decisions without conflicts of interest. Social Responsibility: Ensuring that all suppliers adhere to ethical and environmental labor standards. The Annual Nupco Partners Meeting 2024

In the annual gathering of Nupco’s partners, titled “Towards Integrated Supply Chains,” and in the presence of the Board of Directors, we reviewed our most significant achievements during the year 2023. A panel discussion was held focusing on opportunities to enhance medical supply chains and the importance of investments and collaborative efforts among possible sectors contributing to the development of an efficient and high-quality healthcare system. The session aimed to achieve the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. Eng. Saad Al-Sadhan, the Deputy Minister for Supply and Engineering Affairs at the Ministry of Health, participated in the discussion, along with Assistant Minister for Industrial Sectors at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, Mr. Amar Al-Taf.

Also, Brigadier Mohammed Al-Zahrani, the Head of Operational Operations at the General Directorate of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense, and Mr. Sami bin Hajilan, the Deputy CEO for Development at the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, were part of the event.

A world Customer Experience Forum launched the Saudi Customer Experience Awards, celebrating excellence in customer experience across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The awards aim to honor professionals, government entities, and organizations that excel in the field of customer experience. The awards were inaugurated on June 12th, and the finals took place on January 17, 2024. The award ceremony was held on January 25, 2024, in Riyadh. The Saudi edition is a regional version of the original international Customer Experience Awards. Nupco received 8 awards at the Saudi Customer Experience Awards.
