This certification serves as a testament to Nupco’s commitment to the highest standards of integrity and transparency in managing its procurement operations and enhancing trust with its partners across various sectors.
Nupco was awarded the Procurement Ethics Certificate after its team completed training and passed the exam in various areas of ethical procurement and supply management, in line with modern global standards. It is noteworthy that the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) is the world’s largest organization in the field of procurement and supply, and it is the primary international reference for best practices and procedures in the field. The institute aims to achieve the desired qualitative, quantitative, and value-added sustainability throughout all stages of procurement, contracting, and supply operations.
In the annual gathering of Nupco’s partners, titled “Towards Integrated Supply Chains,” and in the presence of the Board of Directors, we reviewed our most significant achievements during the year 2023. A panel discussion was held focusing on opportunities to enhance medical supply chains and the importance of investments and collaborative efforts among possible sectors contributing to the development of an efficient and high-quality healthcare system. The session aimed to achieve the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. Eng. Saad Al-Sadhan, the Deputy Minister for Supply and Engineering Affairs at the Ministry of Health, participated in the discussion, along with Assistant Minister for Industrial Sectors at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, Mr. Amar Al-Taf.
Also, Brigadier Mohammed Al-Zahrani, the Head of Operational Operations at the General Directorate of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense, and Mr. Sami bin Hajilan, the Deputy CEO for Development at the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, were part of the event.
